Organization of the Missouri State
Society:
The State of Missouri Colonial Dames was organized
in January, 1922 with the Kansas City Chapter being the first one.
Our chapters are located from North to South encompassing a large
area.
Ann Lord Bartholomew, located in the Independence area, was organized
June 26,1994, Chartered March 4, 1995.
Captain Robert Napier, located in the Springfield area, was organized
November 6, 1999, Chartered May 7, 2000.
Captain Thomas Harris, located in the Columbia area, was organized
June 2, 1984, Chartered September 11, 1985.
Kansas City Chapter, located in the Kansas City area, organized
1922, Chartered January 4,1978.
Mareen Duvall Chapter, located in Rolla, MO, organized
August 7, 2002, Chartered November 13, 2004.
Margaret Wyatt Allyn Chapter, located in the St. Louis area,
was organized May 28, 1984, Chartered February 22, 1986.
Missouri River Trails, located in the Richmond area, organized
August 18, 1984, Chartered February 15, 1985. It is a very small
membership,
and we need to boost membership and add new blood to get it strong
and growing again. Membership ill and older, some in Nursing
homes.
Virginia Dare Chapter, located in Chillicothe area, organized
June 15, 1974, Chartered August 10, 1979
Maureen Duvall, located in the Rolla area, organized August 7,2002
and unable yet to be chartered.
Pertinent Facts
about the Missouri State Society:
All chapters have supported our Entry Hall in the
Headquarters with monetary gifts and will continue to do so, as
needed.
We are honored to have Mrs. Frances Bade, a member
of the Ann Lord Bartholomew chapter serving the National as Treasurer.

Historic Sites Marked by the Missouri
State Society:
Captain Robert Napier Chapter held a marking of
the Kenrick Place in Carthage, Mo. and was recognized for outstanding
contribution to the Society by National.
